The cut corner, and why it does not lower the price
DHA cuts a small piece off the corner of every corner plot, so the front measures a little shorter than the plot's full width. That cut land still belongs to the owner, and every corner plot in DHA has it. Dealers and buyers do not count it against the price. A corner plot sells for the same as a standard plot of its size, usually a little more — and it is called a standard plot, not a non-standard one.
On this plot the front measures 101 ftalong the road because the corner is cut, while the plot's full width is 101 ft. Both are in the table of sides below. The size you are buying is the full width.
Our own measurement across DHA agrees: a corner 1 Kanal plot covers 4,826 sq ft on average against 4,492 for one that is not on a corner — 334 sq ft more, not less.
