The cut corner, and why it does not lower the price
DHA cuts a small piece off the corner of every corner plot, so the front measures a little shorter than the plot's full width. That cut land still belongs to the owner, and every corner plot in DHA has it. Dealers and buyers do not count it against the price. A corner plot sells for the same as a standard plot of its size, usually a little more — and it is called a standard plot, not a non-standard one.
Our own measurement across DHA agrees: a corner 1 Kanal plot covers 4,826 sq ft on average against 4,492 for one that is not on a corner — 334 sq ft more, not less.
Papers, possession and what a buyer must check
DHA's map says nothing about either of these. Possession comes from DHA's own possession notices where one has been issued for this plot; the rest comes from our own enquiry, and where we have not enquired yet, it says so.
