Read Story Moving To Italy [Completed] - Season 1 - Episode 8

Uju has never fought anyone before not to talk of killing someone. It is the first time she was even holding a gun and pointing it at someone and it has resulted in a death. She never expected that a day would come when she would be holding a gun. She never thought she would one day kill anyone. But she has just done that. As soon as the tall giant man fell and died, Uju became greatly worried. She was disturbed because she didn't know how to deal with the situation.
"Am I dreaming or what? Please, if this is a nightmare, someone should quickly wake me up, I don't want it to continue. This should better be a nightmare so that I can wake up and discover that all these things are happening in the dream land." Uju said to herself as she started crying profusely. Her tears drenched her face and turned her makeup into a mixture of yellow and brown.
"I can't believe I just shot someone. I just killed someone. The man is truly dead. This is a serious problem. How am I going to deal with this? How am I going to leave this place with the dead body in here? have just increased my problem. I was thinking of how to escape, now, I have just shot someone. My problems have increased times ten." Uju said tearfully. She was so worried because if anyone should find out what she did, she would be in a serious problem.
"How am I going to hide this man? What if Madam Philo finds out? What if she calls the police? What if the police arrest me? Is this how I will go to jail? I'm so worried right now." Uju said to herself. She touched the giant man again to be sure he was dead. The man did not move at all.
"I don't even know anyone in this town. I don't know road or where to follow. How am I supposed to deal with this? Madam Philo, it shall never be well with you for putting me through all this stress. If you didn't bring me to this hotel, I would not have killed someone. Look at me now, I was just trying to protect myself, but look at the problem I have created. I'm so worried right now." Uju said in her heart. Just then, Uju heard a knock on the door. It was the hotel waiter.
"Miss Uju! Please, open the door. The customer has stayed with you for too long and that is not allowed. You have to let him out now. The time he paid for has finished. It's time for him to leave. We want you to have time to rest for tomorrow's work. Please, no matter how you are enjoying with him, let him go. Open the door." The walter said. His voice increased Uju's fears by hundredth folds.
"My God! The walter is coming! How am I going to hide this man now? How am I going to deal with this situation?" Uju said. She started running helter skelter in the room, trying to decide how best to handle the situation. Her heart was beating with speed as she bent down and tried to lift the man so she could hide him in one corner of the room. However, the man was too heavy for her.
"I can't lift him. He is too heavy, just like a giant. He is even heavier than me. I can't lift a load that is heavier than me. This is a serious problem. If the waiter comes in, he is going to see the dead body and he will report me to Madam Philo. I will not allow him to come in. I'm not opening the door for anyone." Uju said tearfully.
Uju decided to drag the man on the floor. He was still too heavy for her but she managed to drag him bit by bit. She pulled the man into the bathroom and then locked it.
"I can see blood on the floor. I have to clean the blood quickly. If I don't clean it, the waiter will see it." Uju said as she rushed back into the bathroom and came back with a mop. She dipped it in water and gently mopped up the blood from the floor.
"Miss Uju, if you can hear me, please open the door fast. I'm tired of waiting for you. What is happening in there? The man has overstayed his welcome. Allow him to go. Open the door quickly. I want to come in. Why is everywhere quiet? I want to know what is going on. Besides, I heard something like gunshot, did it come from your room? Are you alright?." The waiter's voice came again.
Uju quickly rounded up the mopping and then calmed herself down. She took a deep breath and then rushed to the door and opened it.
"Why are you shouting as if there's a problem?" Uju asked the waiter who quickly entered the room.
"Where is the man? Is he gone? I have not seen him going. I usually see everyone when they come out of the hotel. I didn't see when he came out. Where is he? Did the gunshot come from here?" The waiter asked. He was looking around, trying to see if the giant man was still there.
"He is gone. And there were no gunshots. He just left a while ago. And it is not a must that you must see every customer coming out of my room." Uju said calmly and firmly.
"Are you sure he is gone? I can still feel he is here. Did he try to harm you?" The waiter said.
"Please, I want to sleep. I'm okay! He didn't harm me. You have to leave now. I want to have some rest. I have gone through a lot of stress today." Uju said.
"Alright! Get some rest. Because the weekend is starting tomorrow. We have more customers during weekends. You will attend to five customers tomorrow and work starts early in the morning. The waiter said as he leaves Uju's room. Uju quickly locked the door. She fell on the floor and started weeping.
"I'm in serious trouble. I'm in hot okra soup." Uju said.
