The bell
- Look at the bell in the forum bar. The number on it is how many notifications you have not read.
- Tap the bell to open the Notifications page.
- Unread items are highlighted at the top.
What you get notified about
- Replies to your threads, posts and answers.
- @mentions: someone typed @ with your name in a post.
- Best answer: the asker chose your answer (you also get +15 points).
- Keyword alerts: a new post matches a keyword you saved on the Alerts page.
- Follows: someone followed you, or something you follow got a new post.
Clear them
- Tap any notification to go straight to that post; it is marked read.
- Press "Mark all read" to clear the bell count in one go.
Questions
Do notifications come by email or SMS?
Not yet. They show on this page and the bell. Email sending is coming soon; SMS is not live.
How do I get fewer notifications?
Unfollow threads, phases or tags you no longer need, and remove old keywords on the Alerts page.
